Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
Salar de Uyuni (or Salar de Tunupa), located in southwest Bolivia, near the crest of the Andes.  Covering an area of 10,582 square kilometers, it is the world's largest salt flat.  Salar de Uyuni is estimated to have a reserve of 10 billion tons of salt.

In the wet season, Salar de Uyuni become the world’s largest mirror.  


Snow Tunnel, Russia

This snow tunnel near the Mutnovsky Volcano in Russia is almost a kilometer long. These tunnels form under the snow fields in deep ravines at the end of the summer thaw. Melt water flows through glaciers towards lower elevations, finding an outlet at the terminus of the glacier and carving the ice on the way.

Sagano Bamboo Forest of Kyoto, Japan
This beautiful Bamboo Forest is located in Arashiyama, a district on the west outskirts of Kyoto, Japan, covering an area of 16 square kilometers. 
One of the most interesting facts about this place is that the sound the wind makes as it blows through the thick bamboo grove.  The sound of the wind in this bamboo forest has been voted as one of “one hundred must-be-preserved sounds of Japan” by the Japanese government.

The giant Crystal Cave, Naica Mine, Mexico
This gigantic cave was discovered by two brothers drilling in the Naica lead and silver mine in 2007-2008.   It is nearly 1,000 ft below the Chihuahua Desert in Mexico.  Obelisks shaped crystals up to 11 meter (37 feet) in length and the equivalent height of six men jutted out from the damp rock walls, and there were hundreds of blade-sharp crystals.

Tianzi Mountains, China
The Tianzi Mountains is located in the northern part of Wulingyuan Scenic Area in Hunan Province, Tianzi (Son of Heaven).  Tianzi Mountain provides stunning views of peaks, which rise one after another. The highest peak of the mountains is 1262.5 meters above sea level.  At the top of the mountain, visitors can see the full extent of the Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

Home of Strange plant, Socotra, Republic of Yemen
Socotra is a small archipelago of four islands in the Indian Ocean, near the Gulf of Aden. The largest island, also called Socotra, is about 95% of the landmass of the archipelago. It is the home to some of the weirdest looking plants that are found nowhere else on earth.

Antelope Canyon, USA
Antelope Canyon, located on Navajo land near Page, Arizona,  is the most-visited and most-photographed slot canyon in the American Southwest. Antelope Canyon includes two separate, photogenic slot canyon sections, referred to individually as Upper Antelope Canyon or The Crack and Lower Antelope Canyon or The Corkscrew.

Ice Canyon, Greenland
Ice Canyon is an impressive ice structure and most visited place in Greenland. The canyon is about 30 – 40 meters deep, carved by the water from the melting icebergs. Greenland ice sheet covers roughly 80% of Greenland’s surface. It holds about 10% of the world’s ice and is the second largest body of ice in the world after the Antarctica ice sheet. The most popular time to visit is mid-May through mid-September, when the snow has melted and the sun is out for long periods
